Management Assistant: Principal Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities

  1. Provide first class administrative and secretarial support to the CFO and Group IT Director, enable them to carry out their role effectively and successfully;
  2. Work closely with the CFO and act as primary point of contact both within the organisation and for external contacts;
  3. Calendar management, meeting organisation, minute taking ;
  4. Coordinate the activities across the Finance and IT department, ensuring that reports and presentations are delivered following agreed deadlines;
  5. Assist in the preparation of various financial documents, reports, presentations and other correspondence;
  6. Create and maintain project and action logs within the department and actively pursue progress, keeping CFO and Group IT Director updated on the status ;
  7. Organise travel and logistics for the full Finance and IT community;
  8. Document archiving: ensure files are up to date, stored and secured, enabling easy and quick access at any time;
  9. Undertake any other appropriate tasks to support the CFO and Group IT Director as deemed necessary.

Key Skills & Competences
Education/Experience & Interpersonal skills

  • 5 years of relevant working experience in working within a finance environment in preferably in an international organization and/or in a multicultural context;
  • Basic understanding of finance processes and procedures;
  • Demonstrated experience of Microsoft office Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint;
  • Able to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines;
  • Able to respond effectively to changing priorities;
  • Good organizational skills used in planning own work;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Discretion and accuracy;
  • Excellent Dutch and English language skills, both oral and written, knowledge of French is a plus.
