Food ingredients include:

  • Acidifiers and regulators

    Well-known and widely used products including citric acid and citrates, lactic acid, malic acid, phosphoric acid and sorbic acid.
  • Amino acids

    Extensive range of amino acids including L-Alanine, L-Arginine, L-Cystine, L-Glutamine, Glycine, L-Histidine, L-Isoleucine, L-Leucine, L-Lysine, Methionine, Taurine, L-Tryptophan, L-Valine and others. 

  • Antioxidants

    Reducing the oxidative deterioration that leads to rancidity, or the loss of flavour, colours and nutritional value of foods, like ascorbic acid or sodium ascorbate.
  • Botanical extracts

    Phytochemicals (plant chemicals) that may be beneficial to health, including chemicals extracted from plants and more holistic natural ingredients.
  • Colours and coatings

    A range of natural colours and colouring foodstuffs, which improve the overall appearance of food and beverage applications.
  • Fibres

    Insoluble fibres to help increase bulk and give textural benefits and soluble fibres with broad nutritional & health benefits.
  • Flavourings and enhancers

    Extensive range of natural flavouring substances mainly derived from wood and fusel oil distillation including specialised synthetic molecules, but also flavour enhancers like monosodium glutamate, vanillin and yeast extract.
  • Fruit and vegetable ingredients

    Organic fruit products, dried, frozen, pulped, juices, extracts, essences, powders and flakes and 300 different vegetable powders with different texture and temperature properties.
  • Gelatine, gums and stabilisers

    Adding texture, viscosity and stability, our range includes agar agar, carrageenan celluloses, gelatine, guar gum, locust bean gum, sodium alginate, tragacanth gum and xanthan gum.
  • Health ingredients and nutraceuticals

    Health promoting CLA, plant steroids, MCT oil, quality EPA and EHA Omega 3 oils - innovative products that can boost the health and nutritional aspects of your products.
  • Phosphates

    Emulsifiers, buffers and sequestrants that help hold water in meat and fish products, prevent the discolouration of sausages, aid mixing of fats and speed penetration of the brine in curing.
  • Preservatives

    Including cultured wheat starch, lactic acid, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, sodium lactate and rosemary extracts.
  • Processing agents and additives

    Including anti-caking agents, anti-foaming agents, humectants, soya lecithin pectins and waxes.
  • Proteins

    Imparting texture and adding nutritional value, our range includes animal, vegetable and dairy proteins.
  • Salt

    Extensive range of basic and specialty salts for curing, preservation and special applications, for example low in sodium.
  • Smoke ingredients

    Scansmoke® liquid smoke and Scangold® browning agents help achieve best grill flavourings and smoke related aromas.
  • Sugar and sweeteners

    Including brown rice syrup, acesulfame-K, aspartame, cyclamates, honey products, isomalt SE, lactose, maple syrup, modified starches, neohesperidin DC, palatinose SW, polydextrose, saccharin , sucralose, sweetener blends and thaumatin.
  • Vitamin and mineral blends

    Including emulsified minerals and vitamin blends.
  • Dairy & whey products

    Including whey instant, DWP, Lactulose syrup, TMP, Lactose and WPI and a full range of whey concentrates.
