Joris Coppye

Group Chief Executive Officer

Joris Coppye holds an Engineering degree from the Louvain University, as well as an Economics degree and an MBA. He began his career with KBC Bank as a foreign trade consultant. He joined the Sibeco Group in 1988, which he led through a Management Buyout (MBO) and a subsequent sale to Azelis in 2004. As Group CEO, Joris Coppye is ultimately responsible for achieving the financial returns set by the shareholders and for implementing the strategic direction set by the Board.


Günther Kraußer

Group Chief Financial Officer

Günther Kraußer holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences in Nuremberg. Initially with JP Morgan Chase & Co. in 1986, he was subsequently in charge of various finance and treasury operations including Stihl AG & Co. KG and Porsche AG. Within Azelis,Günther will use his experience in finance and acquisitions to continue to develop new economies of scale and growth potential.


Michel Dubois

Group Strategy Officer

Michel Dubois holds an MBA in Marketing from Amiens University. In his role as Group Strategy Officer, he acts as the primary contact for new principals and suppliers, leading in the development of new business opportunities. He is responsible for driving excellence in the performance of various Group Business Areas and developing business synergies across the company.

Alan Peterson

Chairman

Alan Peterson's experience over the last 20 years includes involvement in both public and private equity backed companies. He has held the role of CEO or Chairman in manufacturing, industrial and retail companies including Alcan, West & Welsh Holdings, ACI Rockware Group, Meyer International, Rubicon Retail Holdings, Refresco Holdings BV and Paperpak Holdings. Since 2008, Mr. Peterson has chaired the Azelis Board of Directors, acting as key interface between the Executive Team and the Group's institutional shareholder, 3i.


Hans Udo Wenzel

President and Deputy Chairman

Dr. Hans Udo Wenzel began his career in the Chemical Industry with Hoechst, managing mergers, restructuring and divestments across the group. In 1996, after two years at Alitalia, Dr. Wenzel founded Novorchem via the acquisition of Organa srl, a buy and build strategy which ultimately led to the Azelis Group today. He assumes the role of Non-Executive Deputy Chairman of the Main Board and concentrates his activities on strategic development, including identifying and assisting in the execution of a range of acquisitions.
