Azelis UK and its operating company, Chance & Hunt, have agreed to acquire Polymers Direct.
Polymers Direct specialises in high performance and commodity polymers supplying a wide range of products into plastics manufacturing applications. The company is directly compatible with Pan Polymers, a subsidiary of Chance & Hunt which specialises in the Engineering plastics market.
Azelis considers the Plastics sector to be one of its major growth targets across the whole of Europe and Polymers Direct fulfils the necessary criteria set for all Azelis acquisitions, namely high levels of customer service and technical support, strong management and specialist expertise. Its strengths mirror those of Pan Polymers and with their focus on complementary product application areas, the two companies will provide a strong platform for growth in the UK.
