Today, Azelis announces a new distribution contract with CECA, a leading speciality chemicals manufacturer, subsidiary of the Arkema group.
Adding to existing agreements in Europe, Azelis can now also offer CECA’s surfactants, based on speciality fatty amines and alkoxylates, to selected industrial and institutional detergent manufacturers in the UK, Germany and Austria for Homecare and Industrial Cleaning applications.
Benoit Fritz, Azelis Group VP Industrial, states, “Azelis recently formed a new department, Homecare & Industrial Cleaning, providing the extra focus needed to support this fast growing market. Our teams of dedicated homecare specialists are eager to offer CECA’s range of performance detergent additives to customers. We will leverage synergies gained from our market knowledge around the Group to rapidly introduce these materials in the countries mentioned.”
Francois Guillemet, General Manager for CECA’s Surfactants, adds, “We have already worked well with the Azelis Homecare teams in other countries and are confident that this new agreement will be just as successful. The creation of Azelis’ dedicated Homecare & Industrial Cleaning department is a welcome addition, which will no doubt deliver a positive dimension to our market penetration in the UK, Germany and Austria.”
CECA offers a large product range in this segment comprising fatty amines derivatives, ethoxylated alcohols and sorbitan esters marketed under the following trade names: Dinoram® Noramox® Cecajel® Ensoline® and Surfaline®.
The agreement is effective, February 2014.
