Azelis announces organisational development

The Board of Azelis Group announces that a strategy review resulted in significant growth targets for the next 3 years, fully supported by its main shareholder 3i. Selected acquisitions will be part of the objective to become the leading pan-European distributor of specialty chemicals providing value added services in selected market segments.

In this context, Hans Udo Wenzel, currently CEO of Azelis is appointed as President of Azelis Holding SA. He will also assume the role as Non - Executive Deputy Chairman of the Main Board.
He will concentrate his activities on the strategic development of the Group, including the identifying and assisting in the execution of a range of identified acquisitions.

Joris Coppye, currently Group Director Operations, is nominated new Chief Executive Officer of the Group.

Hanco van den Akker, Managing Director Benelux, is appointed Group Director Business Operations, with the main task to efficiently coordinate the implementation of European market strategies.

Azelis reports satisfactory first half financial results.
