Azelis wins Gold at Cosmetagora

Organised by the French Cosmetic Society in Paris, this year saw the fourth edition of the Cosmetagora formulation competition, which attracted 49 entries including Azelis France Personal Care. A jury of experts awards four prestigious prizes, divided into four levels of innovation: Gold, Silver, Bronze and the "Coup de Coeur" prize. Azelis impressed the judges with its 'D-Tox Magnetic Mask' which uses a magnet wrapped in a tissue to remove the mask, with no need to rinse, leaving a protective serum on the skin.

The magnet releases skin from pollutants and creates revitalising electromagnet interactions to stimulate microcirculation and purify skin. The mask is concentrated in detox and anti-oxidant ingredients to free skin from toxins and neutralise free radicals day after day, a shield against urban stress to preserve beauty and youth of customer.

The product has been developed in Azelis France by Clare Le Morvan, Laboratory Manager and Marie-France Detez, International Technical Consultant. Clara Le Morvan comments: "Developing D-Tox Magnetic Mask was a project spanning several months. Our goal was to create an innovative mask to protect customers from urban stress. Ideal at home or in-spa, D-Tox Magnetic Mask is a no-rinse formula offering a new experience to customer. We are delighted to see that it has pleased both the Cosmetagora jury and visitors."

Azelis France Personal Care develops new formulations for Cosmetagora every year. For 2017, six new formulations were offered to customers:

  • D-Tox Magnetic Mask
  • Yes, we Green - a clay mask that doesn't dry skin and can be easily removed
  • Coalition parfaite - oil drops suspended in a clear aqua lotion
  • La Crème au pouvoir - a deeply moisturising water drop cream
  • Revolu'sun - a fluid sunscreen in a cushion to take anywhere
  • Sourcitoyen, Sourcitoyenne - a cream-to-powder solution for drawing a natural brow

Azelis Personal Care invited its visitors to their stand at Cosmetagora to vote for their favourite product. Once again, the 'D-Tox mask' was their favorite (with 49% of the votes), 'Coalition parfaite' came second (30%) and 'Yes, we Green' in third place (7%).

Azelis France Personal Care endevours to bring new ideas and concepts to its customers, while introducing different product's approach and usage. To support this, a new Azelis Personal Care application laboratory was opened in Paris three years ago to offer a tailored technical support.
