New centralised office for Azelis Plastics UK

Azelis Plastics is consolidating its UK operations under one roof.

Azelis Plastics UK, formed last year by the integration of Pan Polymers, a subsidiary of Chance & Hunt, and Polymers Direct, is moving to large, modern offices in Thatcham, Berkshire, England

The new office which will be fully operational by the end of July is close to the company’s distribution and warehousing facilities and the move will improve its order handling capabilities and overall efficiency.

Azelis Plastics UK is designed to provide the UK market with a single source of supply for Engineering, Commodity and High Performance Polymers.  Business Manager David Turner said: “We believe the office move will provide significant benefits for customers by providing one point of contact for sales, service and technical support.”

Earlier this year the company began to distribute specialised engineering polymers for the major American producer, RTP and signed another deal to distribute polypropylene in Britain for Repsol YPF, Spain’s largest company.

RTP produces 60 different engineering polymers and has developed over 6000 grades for use across a wide spectrum of demanding applications. Their product range encompasses conductive, lubricated and structurally reinforced compounds.

David Turner continued: “Adding RTP and Repsol products to our portfolio is a significant achievement and an indicator of our ambition to be a leading player in UK polymers distribution”.

From 1 August 2007, Azelis Plastics UK will be solely at:
Unit 12, Polymers House, 12 Thatcham Business Village, Colthrop Way, Thatcham, BERKS, RG19 4LW. Telephone: +44 (0)1635 588250
