Azelis strengthens its Lubricants & Metal Working Fluids market segment with the opening of an enhanced application laboratory in Milan, Italy

Azelis, a leading innovation service provider in the specialty chemicals and food ingredients industry, is pleased to announce that it has opened a new laboratory dedicated to Lubricants & Metal Working Fluids (L&MWF) in the north of Milan, Italy. The facility has been transferred to benefit from more space and from the potential to further scale its capabilities in 2024 and, thus, better serve the EMEA region as a whole. The laboratory is fully operational and serves as a valuable resource for Azelis' teams, customers, and principals.

With state-of-the-art equipment, the team can carry out, for example, precise analyses of the performance of Azelis’ products and the synergistic effects between them. They can also measure improvements in the performance of customers’ cutting fluids. The laboratory testifies to Azelis’ commitment to delivering the best services and meeting the needs of customers and principals, through training and technical consultancy activities. The Azelis L&MWF team actively develops innovative formulations based mainly on raw materials from renewable sources and can guide Azelis’ partners towards sustainable solutions, aligned with their performance requirements. This expertise contributes to Azelis’ expanding lateral value chain and positions the company as an added-value key player in the industryan industry where the sustainability criteria and increasingly qualitative product development are essential.
