Azelis to distribute Allessa Print Industry products in Europe and Russia

Azelis, the European distributor of specialty chemicals, has signed a contract with Allessa Chemie GmbH to distribute Allessa’s Reflex Blue additive for inks and Allessan APT, an additive for paper coating, throughout Europe (except Germany, Austria, Switzerland & Italy) and Russia. The distribution arrangement will start 1st July 2008.

Reflex Blue is a finely ground flush paste with particularly high colour strength, recommended for sheetfed and web offset printing inks. Allessan APT improves colour brightness, gives better water resistance and reduces smearing. These highly technical new products complement Azelis’s existing portfolio for the paper and ink industries.

Allessa Chemie recently acquired the Reflex Blue business from Clariant.
