Azelis appoints Boris Cambon-Lalanne to succeed Thijs Bakker as Group CFO

Azelis, the reference innovation service provider for speciality chemicals and food ingredients, announces the appointment of Boris Cambon-Lalanne as Group CFO and member of the Board of Directors, effective January 2026, succeeding Thijs Bakker, whose departure was previously announced.

Boris brings over two decades of financial expertise in the chemical industry, with a proven record in multinational finance management and strategic leadership. Recognised for building high-performing cross-cultural teams and driving sustainability initiatives, he has held several senior roles at Rhodia and, following its acquisition by Solvay in 2011, continued his career there, most recently as Capital Markets Director. 

His passion for science, strategic mindset, and commitment to operational excellence - combined with a history of delivering transformational results - will be instrumental as Azelis enters its next phase of growth. In his new role, Boris will leverage Azelis’s strong financial and digital foundations to accelerate the Group’s strategic ambitions.
