Azelis appoints Dr. Pierre-Jean Hellivan as Group Platform Leader, Flavours and Fragrances

Azelis, the reference innovation service provider in the speciality chemicals and food ingredients industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Pierre-Jean Hellivan as Group Platform Leader, Flavours and Fragrances, effective 1 February 2026. In this new role, Pierre-Jean will lead Azelis’s Global Flavours and Fragrances Platform. 

The Global Flavours and Fragrances Platform connects Azelis’s local Flavours and Fragrances businesses through a coordinated operating and commercial model, enabling more consistent engagement with global key accounts and principals while continuing to deliver locally tailored solutions for flavour and fragrance compound manufacturers. 

Pierre-Jean brings more than 25 years of experience in the food, flavour, and fragrance industries. Since joining Vigon in 2011, and following its acquisition by Azelis in 2021, he has focused on managing global key accounts and strengthening cross-regional collaboration across the Azelis network. He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration focused on B2B customer experience and is Chairman of the Chemical Sources Association.
