Azelis expands pharmaceutical excipient portfolio in India through Lactalis partnership

Azelis, the reference innovation service provider in the speciality chemicals and food ingredients industry, is pleased to announce a new distribution partnership with Lactalis for the Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare market in India. Effective immediately, Azelis will distribute the Lactalpha pharmaceutical lactose range across India, further strengthening its portfolio for oral solid dosage formulations.

• Customers in India will gain access to the Lactalpha range of high-quality milled and sieved pharmaceutical lactose, expanding their excipient options for oral formulations.
• Lactalis expands its reach within the Indian pharmaceutical market through Azelis’s established customer network, technical expertise, application support, and strong local presence built over 75 years in India.
• Azelis strengthens its portfolio in India with a recognised pharmaceutical lactose range for oral solid dosage formulations.

The Lactalpha range includes milled and sieved low-nitrite lactose suitable for wet and dry granulation, as well as dry-blending production. It is suitable for oral solid dosage forms such as tablets, sachets, and capsules and is compliant with Ph. Eur., USP-NF, and JP standards.
