Azelis extends distribution agreement of DEGALAN® coating resins with Evonik

Azelis is pleased to announce an extended partnership with Evonik Resource Efficiency GmbH (Evonik), a leading speciality chemicals manufacturer. The new agreement will see Azelis distribute Evonik’s range of DEGALAN® thermoplastic (meth) acrylic binders for coatings and ink applications in Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

• The new mandate builds upon Evonik’s existing collaboration with Azelis
• The DEGALAN® products are well established in the paints and coatings industry and will further bolster the Azelis’ product offering to CASE (coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers) customers in this region
• This deal supports Azelis' objective to actively expand with strategic partners

Effective immediately, this new co-operation represents a mandate extension of existing and successful agreements between the two companies across Europe. In May 2018, mandates were extended to Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Hungary and the Baltics.

DEGALAN® products offer convincing benefits in all applications where the main priorities are unsurpassed weather resistance, colourfastness, high brilliance, hardness and scratch resistance. The products are mainly used in marine and container paints, metal and plastic coatings, architectural paint and ceramic transfer lacquers.
