Azelis, a leading innovation service provider in the speciality chemicals and food ingredients industry, has once again been recognised for its sustainability efforts with a B (Management) score from CDP. This score recognises that Azelis actively manages its environmental impact. This rating is a testament to the company’s continued commitment to minimising its carbon footprint and driving environmental responsibility. As the company moves forward, it is determined to raise the bar and intensify its sustainability initiatives.

  • Azelis' strong sustainability performance supports customers in their search for sustainable solutions and helps principals execute their sustainability strategy
  • Achieving a B score for the second consecutive year enhances collaboration opportunities with principals who prioritise responsible business practices
  • The score also strengthens Azelis' position as a sustainability leader and reinforces its long-term commitment to environmental responsibility

Azelis’ latest recognition from CDP complements its other sustainability achievements, including top-class ratings from EcoVadis and Sustainalytics and inclusion in the BEL®ESG Index. Together, these milestones reinforce the company’s position as a responsible industry leader.

CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) is a globally recognized non-profit organization that operates the leading disclosure system for managing corporate environmental impacts. A CDP score provides insights into a company’s transparency and performance in areas such as energy use, waste management, and Scope 3 emissions. The assessment methodology aligns with the Taskforce for Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and other key environmental standards.

Anna Bertona, Group Chief Executive Officer at Azelis, commented:

“I’m very proud to receive a B-score. Our recognition by CDP underscores our dedication to sustainability and climate responsibility. At Azelis, we aspire to set new benchmarks in sustainable innovation and support our stakeholders in achieving their own environmental goals. We are determined to build on this momentum and take our sustainability efforts to the next level.”

Michael Heite, Group Sustainability Director at Azelis, added:

“Receiving a B score for the second year in a row confirms that we are on the right path. This recognition fuels our ambition to enhance our climate-related initiatives even further. We are ready to take on new challenges and make a greater impact.”
