Azelis Shanghai earns the prestigious ‘Innovator of the Year’ award and wins two best ingredient awards in the green / sustainability category at PCHi China 2016 in March.
Decornel Wax Beads from Sasol Performance Chemicals and Phyllostachys Pubescens (Bamboo) Leaf Extract from Organic Bamboo Industries were winning ingredients in the green category, one of the fastest growing in personal care.
On behalf of its suppliers, Azelis Shanghai submitted comprehensive dossier packages that included new in-house formulations, technical support documents, market trend analysis and articles showing how the attributes of each contributed to green and sustainable characteristics in the market.
Azelis Shanghai was awarded the highly coveted ‘Innovators of the Year’, by gaining the most votes overall in the competition (not just in the green category) from a panel of top experts in the personal care industry. This, amid tough competition that included around 50 leading international raw material manufacturers.
Conrad Bucheleres, Managing Director Azelis China accepted the Innovators of the Year award at a ceremony at PCHi on March 2nd, in front of packed audience. “I was proud to accept this award on behalf of the Azelis China team. We work closely with our suppliers, which allows us to create added value and grow our businesses together via our application laboratory and expert technical sales teams. Our customers really appreciate the additional help we offer, to create the products of the future.”
