Azelis acquired Lidorr Elements in 2023, one of Israel's leading speciality chemical distributors in crop protection, industrial materials, and care and nutrition. The acquisition included the subsidiary company, Liad Agro, which provides crop-protection formulation services to global crop protection companies.

Founded in 1970, Lidorr Elements is headquartered in Ramat Hasharon, a suburb of Tel Aviv. The company also has a logistics and laboratory facility in Beit Shemesh, in the south of the country. Lidorr’s wide portfolio of hundreds of products significantly strengthens Azelis’ lateral value chain in the Agricultural & Environmental Solutions and Advanced Materials & Additives market segments.

The acquisition expands Azelis’ footprint in Israel, further building on its growing regional network following the acquisition of Orokia in 2020.

Orokia, founded in 2005, was an Israel-based speciality chemicals distributor active in multiple market segments. The acquisition created a unique combination of Azelis’ innovation and formulation potential and international reach on one side and Orokia's strong local presence, regional expertise, and excellent reputation on the other.

Orokia's business was built around its key market segments: Agricultural & Environmental Solutions, Animal Nutrition, Home and Personal Care, Food and Nutrition, Pharma, CASE, Advanced Materials & Additives, and Lubricants, acting as the exclusive distributor and agent for the Israeli market.
